Many senior students combine study at the university and work in medical organizations, setting various goals for themselves: income, clinical experience, the possibility of acquiring "useful" acquaintances, etc. On the one hand, earning additional income and being "in good shape", they improve the quality of their lives. On the other hand, on the contrary: frequent overwork, violation of the regime of work and rest lead to deterioration in general condition. The purpose of the study is to compare the quality of life of non-working and combining study and work 4th year students of the medical faculty of the North-Western State Medical University named after I. I. Mechnikov. The study was conducted with 4th year students of the medical faculty (n = 42). For the questioning, the general questionnaire for assessing the quality of life SF-36 Health survey (SF-36) was used, which includes 36 questions, grouped into 8 scales, reflecting various aspects of a person's daily activities and a subjective assessment of his health potential.
