DETERMINATION OF THE OPTIMUM LENGTH OF THE DRILLED PILE WITH EXTENSION
It is shown in  that when bored piles operate with widening for a vertical load, the specific bearing capacity of the pile (bearing capacity related to the volume of the pile, kN / m3) depends on the size of the widening. It provides a method for determining its optimal size.
The paper also shows that the specific bearing capacity of the pile is also influenced by other design factors, namely the dimensions of the pile ℓ and r (the length of the pile and the radius of the well).
It can be assumed that the dependence of the influence of these factors has extremes, i.e. points where the value of the specific bearing capacity is greatest. Therefore, the question of finding these values (optimal) becomes relevant.
