CLASSIFICATION AND METHODS OF CREDIT RISK MANAGEMENT IN A COMMERCIAL BANK

The activity of any commercial bank is focused on increasing capital and generating income. To achieve an effective result, it is important to rationally use the available capital. In the course of their activities, banks can face various risks. Successful and stable work requires the ability to manage financial risks. The relevance of this article lies in the fact that in our country the indicator of credit risks has an increasing nature, which is associated with an increase in the loan portfolio due to lending to non-financial organizations and firms with a low level of financial stability. At the same time, an incomplete analysis and underestimation of credit risks, non-compliance with international requirements in this area is now typical of a large number of banks in our country, which is a problem of modern lending in Russia.
