A special area of didactics is considered – teaching preschool children by means of developing improvisational abilities in a sports ballroom dance team. The greatest interest in this regard is the preschool age, since it is at this age that the foundation of personality is laid, there is an orientation to the development of spirituality, self-realization, self-expression and the worldview necessary in later life is formed.
It is scientifically proved that in the formation and development of improvisational abilities of preschoolers in the team of sports ballroom dance takes a game activity. Also modified and tested in practice a variety of musical and mobile games. Interest in the study is caused by the use of a pedagogical approach to teaching preschool children by means of developing improvisational abilities in a sports ballroom dance team through a game, which provides for the construction of the learning and upbringing process, in a spiral with improvement at each educational stage.
