The problems of the reliability of assessment of students’ educational achievements, caused by the remote format of knowledge and skills testing, are considered. The principles of drawing up test tasks, which ensure the objectivity of the control of knowledge and skills during computer testing, are formulated. Practical recommendations are given to optimize the volume and structure of the test depending on the tasks of control.
