ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF THE AG (I) COMPLEX WITH CYSTINE
Keywords:
Silver complex, cystine, antibacterial activity, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus аureus, Lactobacillus acidophilusAbstract
This article is devoted to the primary study of the antibacterial activity of the silver-cystine complex against gram-negative and gram-positive pathogens, as well as the natural human microflora. High antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus was shown, comparable to the activity of the antibiotic ciprofloxacin. Activity against Lactobacillus acidophilus is shown in a significantly higher concentration. The results obtained indicate the prospects of using this compound for the treatment of bacterial infections.
