Abstract

"Breakthrough technologies", by means of transformation of production processes, have a significant impact on the architectural solutions of modern high-tech facilities. The most significant trends are: space-planning compactness and flexibility, reduction of warehouse space and volumes, "openness" and "permeability" of the production environment, "sustainability" of architectural solutions. Today, there are examples of production facilities that implement most of these trends. In future, dynamism and transformability will become the most important qualities of industrial architecture.
