APPLICATION OF THE LATEST INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE US ELECTION CAMPAIGNS IN 2016 AND 2020

The paper is an attempt to analyze the existing problems associated with the use of the latest information technologies during the US election campaigns in 2016 and 2020. This research is based on the political science approach, the comparative method, and general scientific theoretical methods. The study identified general and different trends in the use of the latest information technologies during these election campaigns, as well as conclusions about the further role of information technologies in the political process.
