GENRE CHARACTERISTICS CONTAMINATION IN THE NOVEL BY S.KING “FIRE CARRIER” (“FIRESTARTER”)

Background –to analyze the characteristics of the genres “science fiction”, “magic realism” and “thriller in the novel by Stephen King “Firestarter”. Methods – theoretical (analysis of the literary sources, modeling of the pedagogical situations). Results – main components of the following genres are stated and their contamination in the novel. The author states the possibility of the characteristics of the certain genres not only in the creativity of the author in common, but also through one novel.
