Abstract

This work examines the methodology of information preparation in modern mass culture. With the involvement of content analysis, hermeneutics and semiotics, the mechanisms of the formation of one-sided views and ideas that are fixed in the public consciousness under the influence of media resources are revealed. Further, the conclusions are formulated, which affirm the importance of studying methods of information work with mass audiences to counteract both at the individual ideological and macro-social levels the imposition of negative emotional assessments by Western and pro-Western media concerning the domestic modern and historical sociocultural experience.
