PROBLEMS OF COUNTERING CUSTOMS CRIMES IN THE CONDITIONS OF INTEGRATION OF THE RUSSIAN ECONOMY WITH THE WORLD ECONOMY

The article examines the problems of counteracting customs crimes, which have become aggravated and received new development in the context of the integration of the Russian economy with the world economy. The authors define strategically important directions in the fight against smuggling, including the smuggling of items that pose a particular danger – drugs, weapons, etc. The regulatory framework for the implementation of this activity is analyzed, its individual imperfections are identified. Speaking about the prevention of these offenses, the authors note that the corresponding preventive measures should be carried out at the grassroots level – the level of specific enterprises and organizations carrying out foreign economic and related operations, and point out some disadvantages of their implementation on the example of a particular economic society.
