SPIRITUAL ASPECT AS A FOUNDATION OF BELIEF IN THE ERA OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

The article raises the question of the development of spiritual ideas in the era of information technology. The author focuses on the spiritualistic form, which underlies a number of beliefs and esoteric ideas. The issues of «phantom thinking», existential self-esteem of the individual are considered. The problem is posed about the possibility (or impossibility) of evaluating the virtual environment as spiritualized, and whether the «digital twin» of a person can claim the status of his «electronic soul».
