The creation of a local financial market presupposes the existence of a regional network of commercial banks, insurance companies, investment funds and other credit and financial institutions, the main purpose of which is to ensure the movement of capital both at the inter-municipal and intersectoral levels. Financial and credit institutions are intermediaries between production enterprises in the region. They perform an important function - the function of transferring financial and credit resources to the region and are a catalyst for business activity in the region. Commercial banks, insurance companies, investment funds direct financial and credit resources to those areas of the region's economy that provide the maximum return and the fastest return.
