Abstract

The article gives an overview of the development of BIM-technologies. A fundamentally different approach to the construction, equipping, maintenance and repair of the building and the life cycle of the facility management was considered. The current situation in the market of construction services has been analyzed. The information modeling of buildings does not come as a substitute for the traditional ways of design, but as a union and development of the latter, therefore logically incorporates them.
