REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS ON INTERNAL CAPITAL ADEQUACY ASSESSMENT PROCESS: RUSSIAN AND FOREIGN PRACTICE

Credit institutions are obliged to operate in accordance with the regulator’s requirements, which include also the requirements on internal capital adequacy assessment process (ICAAP). The article considers the ICAAP regulatory requirements in the Russian Federation and the European Union, points out their differences and possible ways of developing this area of banking regulation.
