Abstract

The development of new digital services and devices makes it possible to perform remote monitoring of units and assemblies of electric trains, which will prevent derailments associated with failure of separate parts and ensure control of overall vibration reliability, which is the most important performance characteristic. The relevance of this issue is also reflected within the framework of the Digital Railway development program of the OAO RZD (Russian Railways). Today, a certain groundwork has been carried out within the R&D Center AO All‑Russian Scientific and Research Institute of Railway Transport in this matter, namely there is an experience in the sphere of diagnostics systems manufacturing (ASKRSPS (special rolling stock automated control system), BUK, hardware and software system “PAUK NEVA-2”) which shall be used for development of "Diagnostic system of technical condition of high-speed electric trains". Improvement of reliability, efficiency, maneuverability and serviceability of electric trains are of current importance.
