Abstract

The researched theme is monumental sculpture from China.

Reviewed are the questions, related to foundations of monumental artwork; it's principles and artistic actions on selected monumental art memorials, and its intersection with national tradition and mentality of Chinese people, who developed the originality of the Chinese sculpture.

Reviewed is the question of the interception between the kammermoral function and national traditions. Separately is reviewed the question of current status of Chinese sculpture in world of modern sculpture.
