The article deals with the problem of choosing coping strategies for teenagers in difficult life situations. The results of an empirical study of coping behavior in adolescents with different levels of psychological well-being are presented. It was found that adolescents in difficult life situations have a predominant scale of "distancing" and "avoidance-avoidance", which limits their use of coping strategies and reduces coping with stress.
