GIRLS IN HOCKEY: OVERVIEW OF THE PROBLEM

Sports training of girls hockey players is carried out according to the Federal standard of sports training in the sport «Hockey». The first two stages of sports training are implemented in boys' teams, then a transition to women's teams is required. The specifics of the training of girls hockey players determines the range of problems of a pedagogical, psychological, and technical nature. The purpose of the study: to review the main problems at the stages of long-term sports training of a girl hockey player. In the course of the work, methods of analyzing literature on the problems of research, observation and conversation with athletes, coaches and parents of young athletes were used. In the course of the research, the main problems of sports training of girls hockey players that affect the level of training and athletic success of athletes are identified. The analysis of these problems and their resolution will increase the level of preparedness of female athletes, improve the competitive activities of women's hockey teams and increase interest in women's hockey in general.
