CHOREOGRAPHERS WHO PLAYED A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN THE ORIGIN AND DEVELOPMENT OF KAZAKH STAGE DANCE

Abstract

The article deals with the development of Kazakh stage dance in the second half of the twentieth century. Analyzing the choreographic compositions and dances of Sh. Zhienkulova, D. Abirov, Z. Raibaev, the leading choreographers of this period, the main principles and approaches in the production process are revealed.

The study revealed that choreographers who made an invaluable contribution to the development of choreographic art in Kazakhstan, gave a special place to improving the stage form of folk dance. Linking them with national traditions, oral folk art, as well as literary works, they used their personal experience and achievements as performers.

Analyzing the basic principles and techniques of national dance in the choreographic text of the production, the authors state the skill of the choreographers and the importance of their productions as a dance heritage for the future generation.
